Six months after the Halloween shooting in downtown Orlando, some students are still processing their trauma and adapting new safety habits, all with a heightened sense of caution.

Christine Mouton, director of UCF Victim Services and adjunct professor, is retiring this June after over 20 years of helping victims, including establishing Victim Services at UCF and setting up victim resource centers after 9/11, the Pulse Nightclub shooting and the Las Vegas shooting.
